Latest News - The astronomers discovered a new solar system is quite large, consisting of seven planets that orbit the "sun." The new solar system found it is about 127 light years from Earth.

"The planets were very close to its parent star, only about 2 percent of the distance of the earth to the sun. One year on that planet is equal to about 1.18 days on earth." Said Dr. Lovis.
Planet's surface consists of rocky mountains as well as on earth but the temperature may be too hot for living things. The composition and distance of these planets on their parent stars similar to our solar sisitem now.
Astronomers studying the solar system for six years. They use special equipment seekers planet called HARPS spectrograph, equipped with ESO 3.6-meter telescope, located at La Silla, Chile.
The tool is able to detect small movements of the star caused by the gravitational pull of planet-planet.
So far astronomers have found 15 of the solar system, each of which consists of at least three planets. 55 Cancri is the latest findings that have five planets.
